Active Recall: The #1 Learning Technique
Instead of re-reading material, test yourself on it. Close the book and try to recall the key concepts from memory. Research shows that the act of retrieval strengthens neural pathways more than passive review. Use flashcards, practice problems, or simply write down everything you can remember about a topic from memory.
Spaced Repetition
